Install on Webflow

Add PerchLens to a Webflow site via the Custom Code panel.

Under 2 minutes4 stepsVisit Webflow
  1. Open Project Settings

From the Webflow Designer, click the project name in the top-left → Project Settings.

  2. Go to the Custom Code tab

It's between Hosting and SEO. You'll see two large code editors: 'Head Code' and 'Footer Code'. We use Head Code for tracking.

  3. Paste the script in Head Code

Add the tracking script — the defer attribute means it won't slow your page load.

    <script defer src="https://perchlens.com/cv.js" data-site="{SITE_ID}"></script>
  4. Save + publish

Click Save Changes, then publish your site to its custom domain or webflow.io subdomain. Pageviews start tracking immediately.

Tip: Replace {SITE_ID} in the snippets above with your actual tracking ID. You'll find it in Settings → Tracking after creating a site.

Troubleshooting

Custom Code is grayed out

Custom Code requires a paid Site Plan (Basic or higher) on Webflow. Free workspaces don't have access.

Script tag is being stripped

Webflow validates HTML in Custom Code. Make sure you're pasting the script tag exactly — no curly quotes, no extra whitespace inside the tag.
